Who we are

ADEK TATU believes in an inclusive social democracy founded on equality, accountable leadership, economic opportunity and national unity.

The party is known in brief as ADEK TATU, and its slogan is “Umoja Wetu, Nguvu Yetu”. Our identity is rooted in the TATU values — Teamwork, Accountability, Transparency and Unity.

We believe that every Kenyan, regardless of region, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, religion or economic background, deserves an equal opportunity to participate in national development and benefit from Kenya’s prosperity.

Our ideology combines democratic governance with a productive and competitive economy, while recognizing government’s responsibility to provide quality education, healthcare, infrastructure, social protection and opportunities for those who are vulnerable or marginalized.

ADEK TATU therefore stands for people-centred development, equality of opportunity, responsible enterprise, social justice, devolution, integrity in leadership and the equitable sharing of national resources.
